These are extremely strong bed lifters. Douglas fir solid core, and strong enough to hold thousands of pounds per bed lifter. (Check with a structural engineer on that one).
Compression Strength of Douglas fir is 1300 to 1700 pounds per square inch.

Stained Finish: All stained finishes will have two or more coats of shellac as a protective over-coat for a slightly glossy finish.
Painted Finish: You select the color in a Krylon brand (or common brand paint) and please select a color that we can easily obtain at Home Depot, Ace hardware store, or Wal Mart).
Caution: This product should be used with furniture legs that will fit within the recessed area and not create a ''tight'' fit.
Caution: Use only in the upright position and do not use outside edges of this product for lifting purposes.  Upright position is defined as recessed area is up, and flat surface of opposite side is to the floor.
Caution: If using this product on a wood floor or a laminate flooring, it is advised to affix a protective felt or rubber pad under the lifters to protect from any damage to the flooring.

Sizing: If you have center supports, let me know the sizes because they could be different than the furniture legs at the corners.
Lift height: If you want a lift height that is less than two inches, please specify with your purchase notes or message me via eBay messaging.
About These Bed Lifters
Sideways forces can cause instability.
On smooth surfaces, sideways forces can cause the lifters to slide on the floor (tile, laminate flooring, or hardwood flooring).
Lifters set upon carpet means more friction, and if the furniture is bumped or pushed in a sideways direction, such can result in a tip-over.
Thick carpet padding can result in lifter instability.
As the lift height increases, there is a greater likelihood of a tip-over.
For the greatest stability, the lift height should be equal to width of the base.
For example, if the lift height is 2 inches, then the base of the lifter should be 2 inches wide.
If the lift height exceeds the width of the base, then the base should be not less than 80% of the lift height.
For example, if the base width of the lifter is 2.25 inches, then the lift height should not exceed 3 inches (3 divided by 80% = 2.8 inches, which is close to three inch lift).
When you are installing lifters, inspect the bottoms of the furniture legs.
Remove any furniture buttons that may be attached to the bottoms of the furniture legs so to allow the furniture leg to sit fully upon the surface of the recessed area.
