These are extremely strong bed lifters. Douglas fir solid core, and strong enough to hold thousands of pounds per bed lifter. (Check with a structural engineer on that one). Made from a solid 6x6 Douglas fir core with trim at the top to create the recessed area for the bed legs. Base of the bed lifter is very stable, given that the base width is the same as the lift height.
Compression Strength of Douglas fir is 1300 to 1700 pounds per square inch.
Universal design to fit several different bed styles.  Great for square or round bed posts and even casters.  Ideal for trundle beds.

FINISH OPTIONS: No finish, or dark wood stain finish, or painted
Stained Finish: All stained finishes will have three coats of shellac as a protective over-coat for a slightly glossy finish.
Painted Finish: For painted, you select the color in a Krylon brand (or common brand paint) and please select a color that we can easily obtain at our local hardware store or Wal Mart).
Caution: This product should be used with furniture legs that will fit within the recessed area and not create a ''tight'' fit.
Caution: Use only in the upright position and do not use outside edges of this product for lifting purposes.  Upright position is defined as recessed area is up, and flat surface of opposite side is to the floor.
Caution: If using this product on a wood floor or a laminate flooring, it is advised to affix a protective felt or rubber pad under the lifters to protect from any damage to the flooring.
