Here's Skipper's classic fashion
Silk 'n Fancy,  Near Mint and Complete!
This cute outfit matches Barbie's Silken Flame fashion perfectly.   It's fun to show off the matching sister outfits in your vintage doll display:).
This outfit is complete with a beautiful red velvet and satin
skirted dress, hard-to-find gold stretch headband, white socks, and black flats.
I won't call anything "Mint" unless I've just taken it out of the original package.  I've collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize items I sell on eBay.  If you have a question I haven't answered in my description, please ask me.  You may want to save me as a seller, as I am selling a large vintage Barbie collection on eBay.
The red velvet top of this dress shows little wear and is clean.  The white satin skirt looks really nice; I don't see any flaws on the front of the skirt.  On the back of the skirt, I see a 2 tiny pink lines on the right side hem of the skirt.  The marks might be from a crayon?  Each  mark is 1/16" long and aren't terribly obvious.     The underside of the satin skirt has cute red lace sewn at the hem.  The gold braid trim at the dress' waist is in really nice shape; I only see a tiny loose bit of gold at the front waist,  a teeny fleck of loose gold at the the back opening, and just small thread of gold to the right of the back opening.   The gold braid is starting to come unstitched at the back opening, so you might want to give it a stitch there.  Skipper's hard to find gold elastic headband is still nice and stretchy.  It looks like the original owner might have sewn it together; there is some extra thread knot there, but this will be under Skipper's hair on display.   The socks are a clean, aged white color with no runs or holes.  I see a faint blue pin point dot on 1 of the socks.  The black flats are marked Japan and are in great shape.
