Pink 12" Rolled Console Bowl
Beautiful Pink Black Forest 12" Rolled Console Bowl made by Paden City Glass.  Black Forest was first made in 1930 by Paden City Glass Manufacturing Company, Paden City, West Virginia. The etching pictures a moose and trees. This pattern were distributed by Van Deman & Son, New York City, and came in Amber, Black with gold, Cobalt Blue, Green, Light Blue, Pink, and Red.  Depending on space available on a specific piece, the pattern may show as many as four scenes, each separated by the trunks of different types of trees that act as a frame for each scenario.  One scene shows a moose fighting with a canine -- possibly a wolf; another shows two deer doe, head to head facing outward.  In the third scene, an elk is being chased by a dog or wolf; while the last scene has an elk and a deer doe, back to back.
This 0owl measures 12" in diameter and 2 1/2" high and is in wonderful used condition free of any chips or cracks.  There are some very minimal straw marks on the bottom and some mold bubbles, that is characteristic of glass made in this era but overall a beautiful piece that would be stunning in any dining room.
This pattern is becoming more rare to find and would be perfect for any depression glass collector.
Vintage and antique items have been loved and used by the previous owner so please expect for there to be some imperfections. If there are any major imperfections such as age cracks, rust, chips, etc I will do my best to list them. I will combine shipping if you buy multiple items when I can.
