    Description

    This is 2 vintage, milk bottle cap inserts from the Virginia Dairy Company, of Richmond, Virginia.  Age is unknown, but possibly 1950's or earlier.  These are the cardboard inserts that fit inside the bottle cap.  Both are slightly turned up at the edges and have written numbers on the back sides.
    Pasturized Monday. Grade A Milk. Homogenized. Blue and red print on white. 31 mm in diameter (about 1-1/4") "444" is written on the back side.
    Pasturized. Grade A Buttermilk. Green and red print on yellowed white background.  The back has written "71".  30 mm diameter (about 1-3/16")
    Both are in nice condition on the front sides.
