    Description

ITEM: This is a vintage late 1960s original mixed media illustration calendar art painting consisting of marker, gouache, and pencil. This nostalgic school days painting shows a jolly traffic cop halting morning commuters while two boys make their way through the cross walk in a homemade soap box derby type car. This was a preliminary work likely done by Robert Berran it is our belief this was commissioned by The Shaw Barton Calendar Company who did a series of these traffic type calendars in the late 1960s into the 1970s. Cool muscle cars make this even more fun!
    Measures 12.25" x 11" on artist's paper.
Guaranteed to be 100% vintage and original from Grapefruit Moon Gallery.
