This listing is for a vintage spear gun by ABBiller, Bloomingdale, Illinois.
Very good condition, no damage, normal wear from age and use.
The spear shaft measures 48". From the butt end to the top of muzzle measures approx. 51". From the butt end to the top of spear tip measures approx. 61".
The handle/trigger assembly, muzzle and the butt end are embossed with Sea Hornet name/logo. Additionally, the handle/trigger assembly and the butt end include "T.D. Preece & Co. Pty. Ltd., Sydney Australia".
This spear gun was purchased new in the late 1980s or early 1990s, and has always been well cared for and stored indoors. Original tag/brochure with instructions, operation info and maintenance info is included but
not shown in the pictures

The original bands were replaced and have been stored in the refrigerator in a sealed bag (as recommended) to preserve longevity. The bands appear to be in excellent condition, and do not stretch easily.
The trigger mechanism and safety have been tested and are in excellent working condition.
Normal wear includes light scratches and scuffs on the wood surface, a small amount of corrosion on the spear tip, and ageing/cracking of the rubber on the bungee shock cord.
