For sale is a refurbished and upgraded Panasonic Toughbook CF-52A (Mark 1) rugged laptop computer.
Computer condition: All features and functions have been tested and confirmed to be fully functional. In "fair" cosmetic condition, though, with scratches on the top of the screen lid and one of the I/O port dust covers (for the phone modem and ethernet jacks) is missing. Also, the aftermarket charger that I have for the laptop tends to get very hot when one uses the computer while charging. It does work, though.
This is a heavy duty, rugged portable computer, great for any outdoor use where a normal laptop would get damaged and fail quickly - on farms or for outdoor field work where the computer can get dropped or get dirt inside it, in a truck or car where physical vibrations and shock are high, and more. Panasonic's Toughbook lineup of laptops are well know for just this - being able to handle any rough use you throw at it without skipping a beat.
The computer will come fully setup with your choice of operating system software: either Microsoft Windows 7 Professional or almost any Linux variant (Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Debian, Cent OS, and others) I can also install an older Windows version like Windows XP or Windows Vista. The computer's video graphics processor doesn't work properly in Windows 10. Message me along with your order specifying which operating system you would like installed on it.
