Lovely vintage rare Art Deco amber glass large footed covered compote with lid from the PARTY LINE #191 by Paden City, that also has the BLACK FOREST etched deer design.

Party Line # 191 With "Black Forest" etch.
Golden Amber Glass 8" Covered Compote with Lid.
Block Optic Pressed Glass.
Etched scene includes a deer and a buck in a forest with hunting dogs chasing the deer (or elk).
Wide etched band on the bowl; thinner etched band on the lid.
Chunky round ball shaped footed bowl; cone shaped lid with round knob on the lid.
Fairly scarce, rare hard-to-find!
Condition: VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION
Overall very good vintage condition with just one small minor ding - a flat flake on the underneath portion of the bowl on the edge of the first horizontal band (see photo); some minor straw marks original to production; minor surface scuffs from use though minimal for it's age; the surface is very glossy and it displays beautifully!
