Blue Morpho butterfly framed wall art, hand painted 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" frame

Blue Morpho butterfly framed wall art, hand painted 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" frame.
I purchased this beautiful piece from husband and wife artists who were moving. I do not know its age or history.
The outside measurements are as given in the title the inside measurements are 9 1/2" in width by 7 1/2" in height.
The frame is hand painted with multiple layers, and then distressed so a variety of colors show through. The back is wood and is sealed with a rubbery type material.
The last two photos show very small dings on the distressed frame, the first photo looks like they may have been touched up slightly. These small dings are on the underside of the piece. Second photo is of the corner and top and side, corner has a bit more distressing and a very slight ding on the side.
This comes from a non smoking, cat friendly home. Please let me know if you have any questions.
