    2 Vintage Metal YELLOWSTONE National Park

    Embossed Plaque & Hand Crafted Arrowhead Copper Ashtray
    This listing features two vintage metal Yellowstone National Park souvenirs, including a cast metal embossed plaque with copper highlights and a hand crafted solid copper ashtray. The plaque features Old Faithful, a really large bear, mountains, pine trees & cones, all sculpted in relief. The plaque was made in Japan and is so marked on the back side. Made of solid copper, the distinctive arrowhead shaped handcrafted ashtray has the stylized 'Old Faithful, 150 Feet high, Yellowstone Park' incised on top as pictured. You can also see that someone has lightly scratch dated their visit to the park as 7/51, or July of 1951.
    Condition is good for both, with tarnished patina that is appropriate for their age. The plaque has been copper plated, so more careful polishing might bring out even more copper highlights. I have polished the ashtray, but more effort is needed to remove all the tarnish. Please check the photos closely to judge the condition for yourself.
    This Plaque measures about 7-1/4" x 5-1/4" x 1/2" and weighs about 5 ounces. Ashtray measurements are 5-1/4" x 4-1/4" x 1/4". Weight is 1-1/2 ounces. Both
    would be a wonderful additions to a souvenir collection as well as eye-catching decorative accessories.
