    Description

    These pieces date to the 1930's and were made by the Paden City Glass Company. This is the Spring Orchard Etched pattern with the gilt surface. The decanter measures 10-1/4" tall and 4-3/4" wide, the gold is good on the decanter and it has the original stopper. There is a small flake at the top edge of the decanter, see photo. On the 6 wine stems, each measures 2-1/4" X 4-1/4" and there are no damages to the glass....but there is wear to the gold on some of the stems, see photos, and at some point in the past, someone tried to touch up the gold and it shows. If you know someone with a kiln and some knowledge about it, they could re-apply the gold for you and fire the stems...if you wanted. The decanter has the floral pattern, but I don't see any birds, the wine stems have the same floral pattern and birds as well, This is the way the set was made.
